It’s summer! Summer signifies time to get outdoors and play with your kids! There are many fun and free things to do with young children in the Kenosha area. In addition to the many wonderful parks Kenosha County has to offer there are other activities for little ones to enjoy while being outdoors. There are several free outdoor concert options throughout the summer. Peanut butter and Jam, Woodstock at Pringle Nature center, Lincoln Park Live and Twilight jazz are great options. Looking for water fun? Splash pads are a free way to have fun and cool off during the summer months. Splash pads can be found in the downtown area, at Roosevelt Elementary and at Schulte park. Looking for something more adventurous? Free Aquanaut shows take place on Lake Mary and have live shows on Wednesdays and Saturdays.  Did you know that Kenosha is home to five beaches along Lake Michigan and they are all free to visit?! Along these wonderful beaches families can partake in fun activities such as hiking, seaglass searching, sandcastle building, picnicking and boat watching.  Kenosha is also home to many restaurants, ice cream shops, museums, bowling alleys, movie theaters and libraries that offer special programs all summer long.
